Louise Lennon | A Short Walk Exhibition: 22nd - 28th May 2021

Updated: Oct 16, 2022

We were delighted to welcome local artist Louise Lennon to klöver haus in Moira to showcase a collection of original paintings created during periods of restrictions. Louise was the first artist to be have an exhibition at klöver haus following the last Covid lockdown. It was great to welcome both new and familiar faces to view the exhibition. The exhibition of original paintings by local artist Louise Lennon explored countryside and landmarks on our doorstep in Northern Ireland. All paintings captured recognisable scenes of Moira, Hillsborough, Lurgan, the Mournes and Belfast. All of the paintings were for sale during the exhibition and the majority sold on the opening weekend. If you are looking for original work by local artist Louise Lennon, we currently have several of her paintings available in our online store here.

More about Louise Lennon...

Louise Lennon is a contemporary artist working mainly in oil. She aims to convey texture and earthiness, capturing the ordered chaos and random patterns in nature. Her inspiration comes from the peaceful solitude that can be found in the barren Irish landscape. During lockdowns, Louise spent time walking the country lanes of rural Armagh where she grew up. This is reflected in many of the pieces in 'A Short Walk' where rolling drumlins, ancient hedgerows and derelict farms can be seen.
